Jennifer Harris was 28 when she went missing from Bonham, TX on Mother’s Day in 2002. Six days later, she was found floating in the Red River.
Since then, there has been much controversy around the investigation, including accusations of police cover up and corruption. Fannin County has gone through four Sheriffs, each promising to make an arrest, and yet the case remains unsolved.
This is just a simplistic summary of the case. There is much more to the story, and I’ll be expanding on it as I can. This case is local to me, and I’ve been reading about it for over a decade. It’s now starting to get much more attention, and I have high hopes it will be solved soon.
